Breeze blocks are perforated blocks for screen walls, named for the air they let through. Our eight breeze block designs have a white finish and share the 8 × 8 × 2.5 inch module of the terracotta jali, so the two ranges can go into one wall.
Eight patterns
Design 1 is a single S-shaped wave. Design 2 splits the face with two sweeping curves. Design 3 is a grid of four bevelled squares. Design 4 is one deep funnel. Design 6 has curved ribs around a small ring, Design 8 is one large ring, Design 10 is a ring with four arcs, and Design 11 is a pointed oval from corner to corner.
Patterns that change when you turn the block
Designs 1, 2 and 11 are not the same in every direction. Turning every other block by 90 degrees gives waves, diamonds and larger flowing shapes across the wall. Try it in the wall builder with the "turn every other block" option.
Where white breeze blocks work best
Interiors, shop and office partitions, lobbies, and facades with a white or grey colour scheme. Outdoors, white shows dust and rain streaks sooner than terracotta, so a wash now and then keeps it bright.
Mixing with terracotta
A common layout is a field of one colour with a border or a band of the other. Since every block is 8 inches square, the joints line up without any cutting.

Something not covered here? Call +91-90411-00702 and speak to the kiln team.
What is a breeze block?
A breeze block is a decorative perforated block used to build screen walls. The name comes from what it does: it lets the breeze through. Our breeze blocks have a white finish and come in eight patterns.
Can I mix breeze blocks with terracotta jali?
Yes. Both ranges are 8 × 8 × 2.5 inches, so they course together. A white field with a terracotta border, or the other way round, is easy to lay.
Where do white breeze blocks work best?
Interiors, shop partitions, lobbies and pale facades. Outdoors, white shows dust and rain marks sooner than terracotta, so plan for an occasional wash.
Which breeze block design is the most open?
Design 8, the single large ring, and Design 4, the funnel, have the biggest openings. Design 3, the four-square grid, gives a more even spread of smaller openings.
